The American School in Japan

In April of 2023, the American School in Japan took delivery of its first hydroponic grow tower, along with over 40 seedlings to get started. The indoor tower will serve to educate the Grade 2 classes all about hydroponic growing, and teach important lessons about sustainability and environmental stewardship. 

And in a few weeks, they'll be enjoying the leafy green goodness of their harvest!

They are growing Frilly, Romaine, Sunny, and Leaf lettuce, as well as Kale, Swiss Chard, Mustard Greens, Arugula, and Watercress. Yum!!
